Leaves on concrete

This is seen on the way from the entrance gate to my classroom in college and often when I look at it I go yey.The effect of leaves on the concrete looks so pretty and it stands out just so distinctly.

The 'unnamed' people who make me smile

Every day we meet our friends talk have fun enjoy and sleep:).But sometimes you meet people well who you dont even know but still bring a smile on your face.

Let me start with someone who I meet everyday.My acquaintance with them is solely due to the fact that I go home everyday.These people have the duty of ensuring that people swipe their id cards at the entrance and that you dont steal someone else's laptop and go out of college besides other duties.They keep shifting places between the main entrance ,nilgiri reception and library.I often carry my laptop so it is quite annoying to show them that.(It is my laptop i know its number (n5110) and i have not stolen it from anyone..Don't bug me for a laptop pass.)So yesterday when i was leaving they asked the customary question.I replied no and cheekily asked them to hold and feel the weight of the bag.They were quicker then me and told me it weighed like 2 laptops.I din't realize at first but then it dawned upon me."they were joking with me".

I like talking with different type of people so one day i found these kids of construction workers loitering near the hostel asking for a treat and just playing around.They were four or five years old.I started talking to them and found out that they went to school but as of now were just roaming in the campus.I talked to them about what they like to eat,what they like to do,they also showed me I think a walnut or almond tree in campus and broke the nut with a stone and gave it to me.They saw a breadboard in someine's hand and asked me what it was.I explained that they helped creating in creating the buliding blocks of computers.I could barely speak to them as my Telugu is not very good but still they could entertain me for almost an hour and a half which i find quite awesome when I look back at it.

In China we often had food at pizza hut as that was the only place guaranteed to have veg food.And that there was only one veg pizza which we always oredered.So one day we were ordering that and there was a really cute young waiter.She must have been about 18 years or younger.She was just so cheerful and jumpy and trying to understand when we told her not to put pineapples and tomatoes and add mushrooms.At the end of the meal my father realized that he din't have cash, so she was like"i'll show you the way and led my father to the nearby atm"(It is ofcourse important to note here that we could barely convese with her)''.IT was christmas time and she was wearing a red hat and she looked really pretty.

We went to  the North-East this summer(2012).MOrth-East always feels like a very exotic place to be in.Among the states we visited i liked Meghalya the best due to its interesting terrain and great weather.We visited this small village called Mawlynnong.''The cleanest village in asia".In the evening we saw all these small girls playing in the central park of the village.They were just playing with a skipping rope and enjoying themselves.Just looking at them jump around it was a pleasure.In this fast-moving digital age they were able to entertain themselves with just a skipping rope.Their means of entertainment were not expensive.(we just suddenly had this realization).We then joined them and taught them a few more games.At the end we decided to give them all chocolates ,not a single one of them dropped the wrapper on the ground.It was just a very memorable experience.

Disappearing Mushrooms

It is just sometimes when you look around you that something as simple as an anthill can amuse you.I saw a huge pretty (I don't think people normally describe anthills that way ) ant hill.It also had a lot of mushrooms on it.There were so many mushrooms and they covered a significant part of the anthill.It was jut white white white on top of brown. I had to take a picture.Two days later its gone. I just see the remains of those adorable=) mushrooms.Why does that happen?

Ancient Awesomeness

""Give me a Jeffery Archer ".This is my Grand-masa telling me this."I worked with Kalam"I was incharge of all the thermal power plants.See there were also a few here which were shut down pointing at the geography textbook."Sahiti's gradfather."per calcium kahan se milega?"."My grand-mama."There are some really old people who've had pretty awesome interesting lives.

They have seen the independence struggle.They remember the pre-modern era,(the pre-i-devices era:=)).
They have seen India change.They have seen how computers slowly infiltrated(:)) lives.They have seen the rise of Ambanis and Murthy's.And the best part of all is "that they remember everything when you ark them".Often in a it seems like yesterday tone.(And then you stare wide eyed and go :O).

So let's start with my Masa.
He is super cool.He reads Jeffery Archer.He was in St.Xavier's at the time where people like Birla ,Godrej were in college.He fondly recalls that Ramesh Sippy was his classmate.And  And And "He is a brilliant musician".We were listening to him play the harmonium and sing.It was just so beautiful and seemed effortless.His father was a wireless engineer at that point of time and he used to fix radios and subscribe to popular science magazines in those times.He can fix any casio and was explaining to me how the resistor and transistor result in a specific sound and that Moog had made the first synthesizer..He's seen Captain America=).All this still doesn't describe how nice he is and how much he cares for people around him.Well i don't know how to describe that.But still "he is awesome"

Mama!!!!
We are very close to my Mama.Well grand-mama.He visits us once in a while and tells us about all sorts of things.He has worked in a Guargum factory.He's stayed on Warrnapathy road for a fair amount of  time.He also deals in making plastic stuff.And he is also ad-aware.A very yey! factor for both of us.(note:both means me and my sister).He's well  tried many things.Somehow whenever I listen to him.Warnapathy road always seems like a legendary place.And then he tells the saki -christmas present story and ya Saki was one of my favourites. We were arguing with him that he needs to have more protein in his diet and he is like i have mix-curry.But you need protein in your diet.I have mixed curry .You need protein in your diet.And then he quotes the bournvita-calcium ad.We the made the vodafone-delights ad together and he removed the apple from the fridge for it.=)by himself.We acted the whole ad together it was so much fun.And he makes fun of us sometimes and is like uttare rahe ho meri. Hence Awesome
